COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT MICHAEL J. BOULEY

Command Chief Master Sergeant Michael J. Bouley is the senior enlisted advisor for the 192d Fighter Wing, Virginia Air National Guard at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He advises the wing commander on matters influencing the health, welfare, morale and effective utilization of nearly 1,200 enlisted members.

Chief Bouley grew up in Vernon, Connecticut and Wallingford, Vermont. He entered the Air Force in July 1979. Upon graduating from technical school as a jet engine specialist at Chanute AFB, Ill., his assignments included Hahn AB, West Germany and Bergstrom AFB, Texas, working on F-4E and RF-4C aircraft.

After his tour in the Reg AF, Chief Bouley joined the 158th Fighter Wing, Vermont Air National Guard in 1989 as a jet engine intermediate maintenance guardsman working on F-16A/B aircraft. In 1991, he joined the Virginia Air National Guard as the 192d Fighter Wing was converting to F-16C/D aircraft. During his tenure in the Air Force, Chief Bouley volunteered for many stateside and overseas deployments, such as, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation PROVIDE COMFORT, Operation NOBLE EAGLE and many Red Flags, Maple Flags, Combat Hammers and Combat Archers.
