Chief Master Sergeant Kathryn A. Massie is the Chief Enlisted Manager for the 192nd Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS). She is also the 438th Supply Chain Operations Squadron (SCOS), 635th Supply Chain Operations Wing (SCOW) Chief Enlisted Manager at Langley AFB Va. She is responsible for overall personnel actions for 200 plus airman to include their training, medical requirements and EPRs.

CMSgt Massie joined the military upon graduation from high school in 1974. She was originally assigned to the transportation branch of the 193rd Special Operations Group, PA Air National Guard, in Middletown, Pa. In 1982 she became a full time technician with the 193rd Resource Management Squadron working Demand Processing, MICAP and Repair Cycle. She accepted a position at the National Guard Bureau Andrews AFB, MD in 1987 where she managed munitions for 92 flying units. While on tour, she transferred to the 175th Tactical Fighter Group, Maryland Air National Guard Baltimore, MD working as a supply liaison in the munitions branch. In 1990 she accepted a full time position with the 192nd Fighter Wing, VA Air National Guard, Sandston, VA. During the 20 years that she has been a member of the 192nd, she has worked munitions, MRSP, Mobility Bags, Repair Cycle and Customer Service. During her career, Chief Massie has deployed around the world to locations such as Turkey, Panama, Germany and Iceland. She also deployed to numerous stateside bases. Chief Massie was the 192nd Material Management Flight supervisor at the guard base in Sandston VA until it was closed in October 2007. She managed all logistical base closure actions and then transitioned to the 735th SCOG at Langley AFB in July 2008.
