Chief Master Sergeant Kevin A. Garrett is the 192d Fighter Wing Medical Group Superintendent. He advises the commander on matters influencing the morale, welfare, quality of life and professional development of Airmen assigned to the 192d MDG.

Chief Master Sergeant Garrett is a native of Richmond, Virginia. He entered the Army in November 1985. Upon graduating from basic and advanced individualized training at Fort Benning, Georgia, as an Infantryman, he was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. In 1987, Chief Garrett was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division Forward, Panzer Kaserne, Boeblingen, West Germany. In 1989 after his tour in the Army, Chief Garrett joined the Army Reserves at Fort Lee, Virginia, as an instructor of infantry tactics. After his tour in the Army Reserves, Chief Garrett joined the 192d Fighter Wing, Virginia Air National Guard in 1998. Chief Garrett served as a Medical Logistician in the Medical Squadron at Richmond IAP, Virginia. In 2005, Chief Garrett became the First Sergeant for the Medical Squadron at Richmond IAP, Virginia. In 2007, Chief Garrett helped the 192 Fighter Wing integrate with the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley AFB. During his tenure in the Air Guard, Chief Garrett has volunteered for many deployments, such as Operation Noble Eagle, El Salvador, and New Orleans. He assumed this position on December 7, 2010.
